The FIRST STRING is extremely spacious, She is 93’ in length and features a 25’ beam. Her low to the water, exceptionally wide beam offers our passengers a huge deck area and a much more stable fishing platform.

Bradley Phillips, our very successful Owner/Operator and his crew have a combined total of over 40 years of experience as Captains’ fishing the California and Mexican waters. Our goal and top priority, whether you are a beginner or an expert, is to make your trip a safe, memorable, and happy experience by guaranteeing you the finest service on a very clean & safe vessel.

The First String is designed for your comfort and safety with the latest electronics equipment (sonar, color meters, radar's, etc...), 3 large heads with showers and large-capacity bait tanks!  Not only for excellent fishing trips, but available for whale watching, receptions, business cruises and party cruises.  Her large galley seats 45  comfortably and includes a large screen T.V.  and a VCR.  Our spacious sun deck seats an additional 60 persons!  For overnight trips, the First String sleeps 49 in air conditioned staterooms and bunk compartments.
